My Role
I was hired by Clifton Stokes, owner of Virtual Turtle Studio, to create a user editable website. They are in need of a CMS (Content Management System). I get them on a Virtual Private Server, set up a LAMP Stack, install Wordpress, set up SSL/TLS Security, and get them started on a Wordpress website.
Problem
Virtual Turtle Studio needs a website that they can edit themselves when new content is available. They also need someone to consult them in quality web design and development.
Solution
I set them up with a Wordpress installation on one of my virtual private servers (VPS). Security, the latest Wordpress, and a LAMP Stack are installed via Command Line. I set them up with the latest stable version of Linux CentOS. The Virtual Turtle team is introduced to quality web development and design techniques and are let loose on the internet.
Success
- New leads are generated.
- The Virtual Turtle Studio team can now edit their website on their own.
- More sales are closed!
